These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website at worthbuild.io and all related services, features, and content (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, subscribing to a plan, or otherwise using Worth Build, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Worth Build is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that provides entrepreneurs, founders, and businesses with AI-powered startup idea validation through automated market research, competitor analysis, scoring, and comprehensive reports to help you make data-informed decisions before investing time or money.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Product Description

Worth Build is a digital SaaS product — a web-based application accessible through your browser at worthbuild.io. There are no physical goods, downloadable software, or licensed third-party content involved. All features are delivered digitally through our platform.

We sell monthly subscription plans that grant access to our idea validation tools and features. Our subscription tiers are:

• Basic (Free): 1 idea validation per month with full validation report, market analysis, scoring, competitor intelligence, landing page generator, and pitch deck generator
• Pro ($9.99/month): 3 validations per month plus all Basic features, Your First Customers (lead discovery with AI outreach messages), PDF report export, and AI pivot suggestions
• Advanced ($19.99/month): 10+ validations per month plus all Pro features, investors in your market, priority processing, and dedicated support

Who this is for: Solo founders, early-stage entrepreneurs, indie hackers, startup teams, and anyone evaluating a business idea before building it.

How it works: You enter a startup idea, and our platform runs an automated validation pipeline that collects and analyzes real market data, then generates a comprehensive AI-powered report with scores, market sizing, competitor intelligence, financial projections, risk assessment, and actionable recommendations.

Service Features

Depending on your subscription plan, Worth Build provides:

• AI Validation Reports: Comprehensive reports with executive summary, market analysis, 10 weighted sub-scores, market sizing (TAM/SAM/SOM), unit economics, technology assessment, risk assessment, strategic opportunities, and actionable roadmap
• Competitor Intelligence: Auto-discovered competitors with traffic data and funding information
• Market Scoring: Weighted scoring system (A–F letter grade) based on real market signals
• Your First Customers: AI-powered lead discovery that finds real people discussing relevant problems, with personalized outreach messages (Pro and above)
• AI Pivot Suggestions: Alternative strategies with estimated scores when an idea scores low (Pro and above)
• Landing Page Generator: AI-generated landing pages with visual editor, custom branding, and email signup collection
• Pitch Deck Generator: 10-slide AI-generated pitch decks with editor, presentation mode, and PDF download
• PDF Report Export: Full validation report as a downloadable PDF (Pro and above)

User Responsibilities

When using Worth Build, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information about your business ideas
• Use our services for legitimate business purposes only
• Respect intellectual property rights of third parties
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Not use our services to research illegal activities or harmful products
• Not share your account access with unauthorized parties

Prohibited Uses

You may not use Worth Build to:

• Research ideas for illegal, harmful, or unethical businesses
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Spam, harass, or abuse our services or other users
• Attempt to reverse engineer or compromise our systems

Intellectual Property Rights

Your Content

You retain ownership of your business ideas, concepts, and any information you submit to Worth Build. We do not claim ownership of your intellectual property.

Our Platform

Worth Build, including our website, software, algorithms, reports, and content, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary content
• Use our trademarks without permission
• Reverse engineer our algorithms or software
• Create derivative works based on our platform

Third-Party Data

Our reports may include data from third-party sources (Google Trends, Crunchbase, etc.). This data is subject to the respective third-party terms and conditions.

Payment, Billing, and Subscriptions

Merchant of Record

All payments for Worth Build subscriptions are processed by Lemon Squeezy (Lemon Squeezy LLC), which acts as our Merchant of Record. This means Lemon Squeezy handles payment processing, sales tax/VAT collection, invoicing, and billing on our behalf. When you subscribe to a paid plan, your transaction is with Lemon Squeezy, and their terms also apply. You can view Lemon Squeezy's terms at lemonsqueezy.com/terms.

Subscription Plans and Pricing

Worth Build offers monthly subscription plans. Pricing is displayed on our website and may be updated from time to time. Current plans:

• Basic: Free — 1 validation per month
• Pro: $9.99/month — 3 validations per month with additional features
• Advanced: $19.99/month — 10+ validations per month with all features

All prices are in USD. Sales tax, VAT, or other applicable taxes are calculated and collected by Lemon Squeezy at checkout based on your location.

Auto-Renewal

Paid subscriptions automatically renew each month on the same date you originally subscribed. You will be charged the then-current subscription price at the start of each billing cycle. You authorize Lemon Squeezy to charge your payment method on file for each renewal period.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. When you cancel:

• Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
• You will not be charged for subsequent billing periods
• You retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period
• After your subscription ends, your account reverts to the Basic (free) plan
• Your past validation reports and data remain accessible on the free plan

Refund Policy

Because Worth Build delivers digital services that are consumed immediately upon use (validation reports are generated and delivered instantly), refunds are handled as follows:

• 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee: If you are a first-time subscriber and are unsatisfied within the first 14 days, contact us for a full refund
• Service Failures: If we fail to deliver a promised service (e.g., a validation report could not be generated), we will provide a refund or additional validation credit
• No Partial-Month Refunds: We do not provide refunds for unused portions of a billing period after the 14-day guarantee window, except at our sole discretion
• Refund Processing: Approved refunds are processed through Lemon Squeezy within 5–10 business days back to your original payment method

Free Plan

The Basic plan is free and does not require a credit card. Free plan users receive 1 validation per month. No payment information is collected unless you choose to upgrade to a paid plan.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Terms

Worth Build uses artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to deliver its core services. By using our platform, you acknowledge and agree to the following AI-specific terms.

AI-Generated Content

The validation reports, market analyses, scoring, competitor intelligence, lead discovery, outreach messages, pivot suggestions, landing pages, and pitch decks produced by Worth Build are generated by artificial intelligence. Specifically, our platform uses OpenAI's language models (GPT-4o and GPT-4o-mini) combined with proprietary algorithms and real-time data collection to produce outputs.

AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, errors, or outdated information. While we design our systems to produce high-quality, useful outputs, AI technology has inherent limitations, including but not limited to:

• Potential for factual inaccuracies or "hallucinations" (fabricated information that appears plausible)
• Market data and competitor information that may be incomplete or not current
• Financial projections and estimates that are approximations, not guarantees
• Scores and ratings that reflect algorithmic assessment, not absolute truth
• Outreach messages and landing page copy that may require human review and editing before use

Human Oversight Required

All AI-generated content on Worth Build is intended as a starting point and research aid, not as definitive advice. You are responsible for:

• Reviewing and verifying all AI-generated information before relying on it
• Exercising your own judgment when making business decisions
• Consulting with qualified professionals (legal, financial, business) for important decisions
• Editing and fact-checking AI-generated content (outreach messages, landing pages, pitch decks) before publishing or sending
• Not treating AI scores, projections, or recommendations as guarantees of business success or failure

How We Use Your Data with AI

When you submit a startup idea for validation, your input is processed as follows:

• Input Processing: Your idea text is sent to OpenAI's API to generate analysis, scores, and report content. OpenAI processes this data under their API data usage policy, which states that API inputs and outputs are not used to train their models
• Data Collection: Our platform collects publicly available market data from third-party sources (Google Trends, web search results, public company databases) to enrich the AI analysis
• Storage: Your idea text, generated reports, and associated data are stored in our database to provide you with ongoing access to your validation history
• No Selling of Ideas: We do not sell, share, or disclose your business ideas to third parties, except as required to process your validation (i.e., sending to OpenAI's API)
• No AI Training on Your Data: We do not use your submitted ideas or generated reports to train, fine-tune, or improve our own AI models or any third-party AI models

Third-Party AI Providers

Worth Build relies on the following third-party AI service providers:

• OpenAI (GPT-4o, GPT-4o-mini): Powers report generation, scoring, analysis, lead outreach, pivot suggestions, landing page content, and pitch deck generation. OpenAI's terms of service and privacy policy apply to the processing of data through their API. See openai.com/policies/terms-of-use

We may update or change AI providers in the future to improve our service. We will update these terms accordingly if our AI provider practices materially change.

Ownership of AI-Generated Outputs

You own the validation reports, landing pages, pitch decks, and other AI-generated outputs created for your account through our platform. You are free to use, modify, share, and publish these outputs for your business purposes. However:

• Ownership of AI-generated content may be subject to evolving legal standards in your jurisdiction
• We retain the right to use anonymized, aggregated data (not your specific ideas) for improving our service and creating industry benchmarks
• The underlying algorithms, prompts, scoring methodologies, and platform infrastructure remain our intellectual property

AI Limitations and No Warranty

AI-generated content is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that AI outputs will be:

• Accurate, complete, current, or error-free
• Suitable for any particular purpose or decision
• Free from bias or subjective interpretation
• Consistent across multiple analyses of the same idea
• Reflective of actual future market conditions or outcomes

We continually work to improve our AI systems, but we cannot guarantee specific quality levels, response times, or availability of AI-powered features. AI model capabilities and behaviors may change as underlying models are updated by their providers.

Disclaimers and Limitations

Service Accuracy

While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, we cannot guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of our research and analysis. Market conditions change rapidly, and past performance does not predict future results.

Business Risk

Starting or investing in any business involves risk. Our validation reports are for informational purposes only and should not be considered as investment advice or guarantees of success.

Service Availability

We aim to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee 100% uptime. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue services with reasonable notice.

Account Termination

Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting our support team or using the account settings in your dashboard.

Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms and Conditions
• Use our services for illegal or harmful purposes
• Fail to pay applicable fees
• Engage in abusive behavior toward our team or other users

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your access to our services will cease, but these Terms will continue to apply to previous use of our services. You may download your reports before termination.

Legal Terms

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Worth Build and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, or lost business opportunities, arising from your use of our Service or any decisions made based on our validation reports.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Worth Build, its operators, and Lemon Squeezy harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If unresolved, disputes will be submitted to binding arbitration or resolved in courts of appropriate jurisdiction.
